A year on from 'Die Hard', Los Angeles cop John McClane is set to
meet up with wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) on Christmas Eve, this
time at Dulles airport in Washington DC. However, when terrorists
take over the airport in an attempt to rescue dictator Esperanza
(Franco Nero) from his incoming flight, it is up to McClane to
restore order and ensure that Holly's plane lands safely. Get that
sweaty vest out, and put some shoes on this time.

On Christmas Eve, New York cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) is
visiting his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) in Los Angeles,
where she works. They are attending a party at Holly's high-rise
office block when terrorists, led by the suave Hans Gruber (Alan
Rickman) break in, taking everyone hostage. McClane manages to
evade capture, however, and sets out to rescue his wife and the
other prisoners. It is not long before he is running barefoot over
shattered glass (ouch!) in a sweaty vest, muttering 'Yippy kay aye'
as he dispatches the baddies with bullets and a certain earthy wit.
Dominic Rains and Ray Park star in this action thriller about the
mythological jinn creatures. The film follows Shawn Walker (Rains)
and his wife Jasmine (Serinda Swan) as they begin to be terrorised
by a supernatural entity in their home in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
After receiving a message from the past, Shawn discovers his family
was cursed by some evil jinn who have terrorised his ancestors for
generations and now they're coming for him and his wife. With help
from Father Westhoff (William Atherton) and the mysterious Gabriel
(Park), Shawn tries to defeat the jinn and break the curse once and
for all.

William Atherton DuPuy was a well-known naturalist who wrote
anecdotally and personally about nature in ANIMAL FRIENDS AND FOES,
INSECT FRIENDS AND FOES, THE NATION'S FORESTS, and PLANT FRIENDS
AND FOES. In another vein he authored GREEN KINGDOM, his account of
the life of a forest ranger, and controversially produced HAWAII
AND ITS RACE PROBLEM. He also wrote for Harper's and had a
connection with the Department of the Interior and, less happily,
with the military's chemical warfare projects.
William Atherton Dupuy managed to combine a career in public
service, playing a role in the Department of the Interior, with the
writing of a number of books distinguished by the care he gave to
selecting artists and orchestrating an unusually close connection
between the illustrations and text. His observations on bird life
remain both entertaining and insightful.
